The onboarding process is a multi-phase process that is tailored to the specific needs and implementation speed of each partner. The phases of onboarding are intended to demonstrate the ways in which Hubject can provide support throughout the process.
You can also download the Postman Collection related to your role in Section 5. The Test-Cases for the different roles can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. Furthermore, the Open Plug and Charge Testing Environment can be accessed through this link.
The phases are as follows:
-
Pre-Contract Phase:
The signing of the Hubject Plug & Charge agreement in the form of a product or project contract.
-
Onboarding start Phase:
Congratulations! You have signed your contract and are ready to start your onboarding.
Your Onboarding Manager will reach out to you as soon as you have completed the Pre-Contract Phase, by sending you to schedule a kick-off meeting.
During the onboarding, your primary point of contact will be your onboarding Manager. You can reach them by emailing support@pnc.hubject.com.
-
QA Phase:
In the QA phase, you will implement and test your implementation for bugs together with the tech onboarding manager. You will receive an email from your onboarding manager containing the credential to access the QA environment.
During the QA phase, we offer an optional implementation meeting should you have technical questions. Kindly collect any questions you may have and send them to support@pnc.hubject.com to schedule a meeting with one of our Tech Onboarding Managers.
When all your implementation is ready, an E2E test must be scheduled, so we can ensure that the integration is set properly with our Ecosystem. For OEMs and CPOs, we are going to connect our charger in your backend and run tests scenarios present in test case list you received in the email at the beginning of the QA phase.
If the End-to-End Test is concluded successfully, you will move to the Audit-Phase after the test. The Audit-Phase is only necessary for OEMs and CPOs.
-
Audit Phase:
The audit phase ensures the implementation of necessary security measures on the OEM and CPMS (Charging Point Management System) to enable Plug & Charge functionality and its associated certificates.
During the audit phase, you will send the PKI audit document for OEMs and requirements list for CPMS to your onboarding manager to demonstrate how the specific topics have been implemented.
After receiving the document, we will evaluate whether all the requirements have been fulfilled. Upon successful completion of the audit, you will proceed to the production (prod) phase.
-
Prod Phase:
Welcome to the Production Phase.
In this stage of the onboarding process, you will receive production credentials and URLs from your onboarding manager, allowing you to connect your implementation from the QA phase to our production environment.
Once your implementation is ready, an end-to-end test must be scheduled to ensure that your integration is properly set up within our production ecosystem.
The end-to-end test will be conducted using the same test case that was provided at the beginning of the QA phase.
If the end-to-end test is successfully completed, you will proceed to the post-onboarding phase.
-
Post-Onboarding Phase
Congratulations! You have successfully completed your onboarding process with Hubject.
We would like to solicit your feedback on your experience with us and provide you with an opportunity to voice your thoughts.
Once the production phase has been completed, your onboarding process will be officially closed and you will receive a survey to give us feedback on your experience.
We would greatly appreciate your feedback on the onboarding process, our ecosystem product, and your overall experience.
You now have access to our Customer Excellence Management team. If you need any assistance or have any questions, feel free to send an email to support@pnc.hubject.com.
