To offer you a truly flexible tool to customize your service offers for EMPs, we have added the following features to Next Generation Pricing:
Network instances
We understand that with each service offer, you may require an ad hoc restructuring of your network.
For example, you may want to have an offer to all of your partners that group EVSEs based on their power type, but you may also want to create a bilateral offer for a specific partner that is based on the location of your EVSEs instead.
NGP allows you to set up as many service offers as needed for your various use cases by creating new instances of the same network. This can be done directly in the EVSE network tab or by following the network creation process described in the section “Creating and managing an EVSE network“. Each new instance of a network is initially set as a draft, so you can edit the name and description freely. You can then create the relevant EVSE groups back into this network instance.
Multiple links to service offers
However, NGP does not require you to create new network instances every time you want to extend an offer. NGP allows you to link the same network to multiple service offers. This way, you can maintain a single structure for your network, but still create and publish multiple services offers for a single network, be that an offer to all or a bilateral offer.
