The Remote Testing Tool is a way to test remote authorization as a CPO. Long-time users of the Hubject platform may remember its predecessor, the intercharge APP.
Be sure to confirm that you have an active subscription from our intercharge testing EMP DE*ICE.
If you do not see this in your business contracts, please set up an offer to intercharge EMP with the following terms:
- Bilateral
- Validity: 2 years
- Standard pricing with 0€ (we do not accept priced offers with our intercharge EMP to avoid triggering any automated billing systems that you may have set up)
Once you have set up the offer, raise a request with our Support team to renew your subscription to the intercharge EMP.
This offer will already be set up if you are currently in the onboarding process.
Log into the Hubject portal as a Partner Account Administrator or a Standard User Testing. Navigate to the Testing Tools application.
Start charging
Enter one of your EVSEIDs (that you have pushed to the platform) and click on Start Charging. The EVSEID must belong to your CPO, HubCPO or SubCPO. After starting a charging session the EVSEID field is not editable anymore. If your implementation is working correctly, the Remote Testing Tool will try to request an authorization at the EVSEID that you have entered.
If the EVSEID has been entered in a wrong format or does not belong to your CPO, you will get an error message:
Stop charging
If you want to stop the charging process, click on 'Stop Charging'. You should be able to observe the stop of the charging session on the charge point.
In case you do not stop the charging session manually, it will automatically end after 15 minutes.
After you have started a charging session at one of your EVSEID, you will be able to start another one. However, the Remote Testing Tool will deny starting a session at an EVSEID, which is already in use (by a session started by the Remote Testing Tool).
The Remote Testing Tool will allow you to start up to 5 charging sessions at a time.
Your charging session(s) will not be stopped, so by clicking on 'Remote Testing Tool' you will always come back to your (active) charging sessions. Please note, that the charging session(s) will not be stopped when you log out.
