Introduction to Strip KYC:
Hubject Financial Services(HFS) understands the needs of its partners for invoicing and efficiently processing their payments through its Hubject partner portal. For that reason, HFS temporarily integrates with a third-party payment provider, Stripe.
While you've completed onboarding through the Hubject Partner Portal, there's one final step to enable payouts: setting up your Stripe Connected Account. Stripe is our secure and preferred payment partner.
Why is this important?
Each partner must set up their own Stripe account to:
- Receive secure, compliant payouts
- Meet financial regulations
- Ensure transparency in transactions
If you're a Sub-CPO, your parent CPO may have initiated your setup, but you still need to complete your own Stripe onboarding. Once your account is created, we manage it on your behalf.
How to onboard to Stripe: Guide and Tips:
You’ll receive your personal Stripe onboarding link through email from HFS. Before starting, please review the required information and tips to ensure a smooth process.
You’ll be asked for:
- Legal name and contact information
- Business details
- Bank account information
- Identity verification documents
This should only take a few minutes.
Tips for a successful setup
✅ Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Required by Stripe. Use an email and phone number accessible long-term (e.g., owner or admin).
✅ Accurate info matters: Mismatched details can delay verification.
✅ Correct bank details: Ensure the account is active and under the correct name.
✅ Monitor your inbox: Stripe may request additional info - respond promptly.
How to onboard to Stripe: Guide and Tips:
As part of opening a so-called Connected Account, Stripe needs to identify the contractual partner, the ownership structure, and the beneficial owner, as well as clarify the economic background. For this, the CPO and its SubCPOs will be required to provide the following information. (The information provided hereafter might deviate from Stripe’s actual requirements.)
Providing information on the company (legal entity that is receiving payouts, not necessarily the contracting party with HFS)

Providing information on business representative(s)
a. Legal name

Creating a bank account
a. Currency (option to add multiple currency accounts)
b. Country of the bank account
c. IBAN
Accepting Stripe’s Connected Account terms
The process takes about 20 minutes if all information is at hand. Once completed, the Connected Accounts will be managed through the Hubject Partner Portal. There will only be a need to revisit the information if information has changed.How to update their Stripe info in the future?
1. Log in to Financial Services
2. Click on Settings
3. Open “Payout accounts” tab
4. Click on the “Payout account” to be updated
5. Click on the button “Update Stripe details”
6. An email with a KYC link will be sent to the billing email address to update the details
