Hubject’s intercharge network gives you instant access to numerous new eMobility partners. No geographical limitations, no complicated negotiations. One unified open eRoaming network for a smooth charging experience.
The eRoaming platform includes the following main features:
- Interoperability of public and semi-public charging infrastructure following accepted standards within the network and the provision of open interfaces to the business users of the platform
- Simplified authentication and authorisation by a trusted authority and the protection of particular data by decoupling personal data
- Automation of the order-based business relationships between energy suppliers, automotive manufacturers, infrastructure providers and other eMobility business partners
- B2B information services for the realisation of services in the potential fields of energy management, traffic management, vehicle reservation, intelligent charging and car sharing
The exchange of information between Hubject and the backend systems of eMobility Providers (EMPs) and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) are based entirely on API communication in accordance with the REST standard. Service requests are only processed by Hubject when a valid contract is in place for the requested service between EMP and CPO. For further details regarding the IT architecture, please refer to the Open InterCharge Protocol (OICP). You can freely access the documentation for OICP 2.3 on Github.
We also created an OpenAPI specification for easier access, you can find it here.
To log into your account, there are two separate URLs for the two different environments. The QA environment is solely for testing purposes in a test environment. No financial transactions should take place here.
The PROD environment is the production environment for live eRoaming with financial transactions.

Please enter your login details. Note that you must use your unique username (not your e-mail address) to log in.
Every login is related to a specific role. The intercharge partner will be logged in either as CPO or EMP. This means that you may have one user name for your CPO login, and another as your EMP login that use the same URL. There are some differences in the functionality offered on the eRoaming platform depending on the role.
