The security of the connection to HBS is very important to us. The system is therefore protected by means of transport encryption. Please create two Certificate Signing Request (CSRs; one for QA and one for PROD) and send them as a password-protected ZIP file to onboarding@hubject.com. Please send the password for your encrypted file in a separate email/ticket for security reasons. Once you send in your request, the request will be checked by your onboarding manager and signed by your Tech Onboarding Manager from the Technical Operations Team here at Hubject. You will receive the associated signed partner certificate and the Hubject Root CA Certificate in the beginning of the QA Phase.
The signed partner certificate is used to secure the connection from your backend to Hubject - please be sure to integrate it into the header of the call as described in our Secure Connection Guide. Download the Secure Connection Guide in the bottom of this article to get started!
The following graphic shows the steps to create the required Certificate to establish the Web Services connection between the Backend and the HBS.
Please note that the Organisation (O) must be Hubject - if it is not, the Certificate Signing Request will be rejected.
Once you have signed your contract, you will move to the OB start phase.
