Introduction to Flexible/Dynamic Pricing

Flexible/dynamic pricing at Hubject allows you as the CPO to update tariffs via an API once you have created the initial offer in the portal. It is one of Hubject's legacy pricing models and will no longer be updated. However, you may continue to use it.

More concretely, this means:

• OfferToAll: In the O2A, the tariff may only be specified once when creating the offer, and not after. You may add new EVSE IDs to existing tariffs throughout the offer duration using the eRoamingDynamicPricing API. Tariffs may vary along the following dimensions:
  • Charging facility/maximum charging power (e.g. AC tariff, DC tariff)
  • EVSE location (e.g. country tariff, city tariff, parking tariff)
  • Time (e.g. day tariff, night tariff)

Nota Bene: The tariffication will be unchangeable once the O2A is set, and that until the end of its validity.

• Bilateral offers: Bilateral tariffication may be adjusted during the lifetime of the contract, but you must agree the price changes with the EMP beforehand.

Ensure that all parties involved have implemented the eRoamingDynamicPricing API as this function will be the most reliable way to check current prices. The portal will only show the prices set at the beginning of the latest offer.
