WELCOME TO THE HUBJECT CERTIFICATION GUIDE
As a customer management system provider, you benefit from our intercharge CHECK solution. Certification of your products and solutions guarantees simple and Europe-wide integration within an interlinked charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. It allows you to offer your solutions to EMPs for EV drivers access to public charging infrastructure across national borders. Your customers will be able to identify any available charging point through our easily recognisable compatibility symbol, the intercharge logo. By connecting to the intercharge network, your customers will be able to use every charge point of all participating CPOs via eRoaming.
For this purpose, you need to be connected to the HBS eRoaming platform (Hubject Brokering System). The HBS functions as an open eMobility marketplace, which creates an open synergetic network from which everyone ultimately benefits.
This guide was created for you as a intercharge CHECK eROAMING SYSTEM Partner for EMPs (eMobility Service Providers) and provides you with all the information you need for certification process.
The integrated ticketing system serves as the communication interface between you and Hubject. For the certification process, please submit tickets by using the standardised ticket forms provided in the relevant articles of the certification guide. If you have further questions you can use the green “Support” button at the right end of the website.
All major aspects of the certification process are explained step-by-step in the guide.

There are generally two different ways to be connected to the Hubject platform as an EMP.
Offline EMP: The Offline EMP has no real-time connection for authorization to the Hubject platform. This means that authentication data for authorization MUST be sent and stored on the Hubject platform with eRoamingPushAuthenticationData. The HBS authorizes charging sessions locally on the platform. There can however be a real-time connection for pulling dynamic POI data. Furthermore, the CDRs, as a result of each charging session, are not directly forwarded to the EMP but are also stored on the HBS. The EMP than can download this CDRs in line with its demands via the eRoamingGetChargeDetailRecords.
Online EMP: The Online EMP is fully connected to the Hubject platform via a real-time interface. This means that authorization requests are forwarded to the EMPs system. To ensure an online authorization, the EMP MUST implement the holistic authorization Web Service. Furthermore, the CDRs, as a result of each charging session, are directly forwarded to the EMPs system. The CPO MUST therefore implement the eRoamingChargeDetailRecord.
