The security of the connection to the HBS is a matter of utmost priority. The system is therefore protected by means of transport encryption. It is necessary to create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) which you have to send to Hubject through the ticket system at the end of this article. You will receive the appropriate signed partner certificate and both CA certificates, i.e. Hubject CA and Bosch St Root CA, at the start of Phase 2.
The following graphic shows the steps to create a mandatory Certificate to establish the Web-Service connection between your Backend and eRoaming platform.
Steps:
- Please download the Secure Connection Guide for further instructions on how to produce the CSR
- Create your Certificate Signing Request and double check that the values provided match those provided in the Secure Connection Guide
- Save the CSR in a password-protected ZIP file
- To receive the signed certificates, you will be asked to attach the password-protected ZIP file containing your CSR and the IP addresses to the ticket in Section 1.4
Having created the CSR, please continue with providing IT security information.
