Hubject is providing its partners with a guideline for proper POI data quality.
Due to the fact that the need for interoperability is constantly growing, Hubject is aiming at high quality data management to enable all partners further scaling. The latest developments have shown that a vast amount of data, especially POI data, needs certain guidelines. Issues of data quality may affect your operations in the long term, so Hubject advises all partners to observe the data quality guidelines provided in the file attached.
Please consider that high data quality and consistent tracking affect your operations in a positive manner, on the other hand the EV driver will benefit greatly from it. The more detailed and structured your data for your infrastructure is, the higher the levels of customer satisfaction and trust towards you, the operator. Information is a relevant service for the user and distinguishing feature among operators. Utilisation of your infrastructure will grow if customers have a good charging experience and can trust the data provided. The quality of data provided will be, and already is, a key success factor for the operator.
General advice: avoid the term "unspecified" and always give detailed information, even if the field might be optional. Otherwise customers will be confused and opt for a different charging station.
