In the Certificate Management section you can upload the certificates that you need in order for the Hubject Brokering System (HBS) to communicate with your backend.
-
There is an automatic negotiation in any kind of TLS communication (1.2 or 1.3)
-
The HBS platform is using mTLS
-
You can verify the server certificate from our endpoint but it is not mandatory. We present our certificate (service.hubject.com and service-qa.hubject.com) but it is your responsibility to check it
-
All the communication is encrypted in the TLS connection
-
Only .pem and .crt file types are supported for upload
The certificate uploaded will be used for the outgoing requests from the HBS platform to your endpoint URL.
To use this certificate you should have selected the option “User Certificates” in the Service Type Settings for Authorization.
You can add a user certificate by clicking on the “Add Certificate” button in the top right corner. If the certificate has been uploaded correctly it will be shown in green in the table with the status “Active”.
In case one of your certificates has expired we recommend you delete it.
